GOVERNANCE

The VRHA is run by members for members. Overseen by an Executive Committee, it is an uncomplicated management system. Each Adult Member is entitled to one vote at VRHA AGM and/or special general meetings

VRHA INSURANCE SCHEME

The VRHA Insurance coverage provides public liability insurance for the club through Gow Gates . The policy is tailored to address particular needs of our association and its members. An annual fee is levied to cover the cost of the insurance.

GARY BROWNE MEMBERSHIP #1

VRHA President Peter Tjepkema presented Gary Browne with an Honarary VRHA Life Membership in recognition for all of his hard work, dedication, time and generous contributions he has given to the Victorian Reining Horse Association over the years. Gary is a founding member of the VRHA and has held membership #1 for almost 23 years. His input has helped the association to build and grow. On behalf of all VRHA members and fellow reiners we thank him.

Gary succesfully continues to train Reining Horses and competes Futurity and Open Level horses at VRHA shows. Gary was pipped at the post after a run off at the 2014 Derby & State Championship Show riding Peter & Glenda Tjepkema's Mare 'A Hollywood Rose' to take home the title of Open Derby Reserve Champion.

VRHA President Wendy O'Sullivan presented David Norbury with an Honorary Life Membership in recogntion

for all of his hard work, dedication, time and generous contributions he has given to the Victorian Reining Horse Association over the many years of the VRHA. David is a founding member of the VRHA and has held membership #10 for more than 22 years. His input has helped the association to build and grow. On behalf of all VRHA members and fellow reiners we thank him.

David successfully continues to train Reining Horses from his facility, David Norbury Training Stables and competes Futurity, Derby and Open Level horses at VRHA shows at Affiliate, State and National level.
